Scientific Programme
Building on more than 15 years of successful collaboration, the European Academy of Paediatrics (EAP) and the European Society for Paediatric Research (ESPR) in close collaboration with GFCNI are proud to introduce CEPAS as the successor to the European Academy of Paediatric Societies Congress. Our new congress fully embodies the core values of EAP and ESPR, offering a dynamic platform where the latest in scientific research, clinical practice, advocacy, and paediatric training converge.
CEPAS 2026 further strengthens its commitment to patients and families through the collaboration between ESPR and GFCNI, bringing patient- and family-centred perspectives and interdisciplinary exchange into the heart of the programme.
Neonatology in the Limelight
While CEPAS 2026 represents the full spectrum of paediatric subspecialties, from preterm birth to adolescence, we are placing a special spotlight on our youngest and most vulnerable patients: newborns.
Neonatal care is at the heart of paediatrics. Advances in neonatology have a lifelong impact, yet many urgent challenges remain: rising global preterm birth rates, persistent disparities in access to neonatal care, and the need for ongoing innovation in technologies, treatments, and training. More details on this important theme will be featured in the upcoming scientific programme.
We encourage you to visit again soon to learn more as we reveal the exciting developments planned for CEPAS 2026.
