When and where will CEPAS 2026 take place?

Date: 28 to 31 October 2026

Pre-Congress Courses are scheduled for Wednesday, 28 October 2026, and the main congress runs from Thursday, 29 October to Saturday, 31 October 2026. For more information, please visit our Congress Information and Scientific Programme pages.

How can I take part in CEPAS 2026?

You can take part in CEPAS 2026 by registering online as a participant through the official registration system. Participation is reserved for registered individuals, and access to the venue is only possible with the official name badge issued by the organiser. Please note that participation is limited to individuals aged 18 and over.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to cepas@eurokongress.de. Until 31 July 2026, registrations are refundable minus a EUR 45 processing fee. From 1 August 2026 onward, no refund can be made. If only a workshop or Pre-Congress Course is cancelled while the congress registration remains valid, the course fee is refundable until 31 July 2026 minus a EUR 25 processing fee; after that date, no refund applies. Name changes are permitted without additional cost. Full details are available on the Registration page.

Can I book a workshop or Pre-Congress Course without registering for the congress?

All Pre-Congress Courses and Workshops may only be booked in combination with a congress ticket. Pre-Congress Courses take place on 28 October 2026, and Workshops run alongside the main congress programme. Is this an in-person, hybrid, or virtual event?

CEPAS 2026 is an in-person congress in Lyon, France. At present, no hybrid or virtual participation format is planned.

Is the congress accredited for CME/CPD?

We are applying for EACCME accreditation, and the congress is being developed in line with European compliance standards. Participants will be able to collect continuing education credits, but the final number of credits and the claiming process will be published once accreditation is confirmed. Participants are responsible for checking recognition requirements with their own chambers or institutions.

Are travel grants or awards available for participants?

Yes. CEPAS 2026 offers opportunities for participants applying with scientific work:

The ESPR Travel Grants provide EUR 500 to support travel, accommodation, registration, and subsistence for eligible early career investigators.

Bright Minds in Neonatology Award | Each national society may select one nominee with the highest scoring abstract from their national congress. The CEPAS Scientific Committee will select up to 15 candiates for presentation and complimentary registration.

Is there financial support for participants?

Yes. In addition to the Travel Grants and Awards, CEPAS offers several reduced registration categories for eligible participants, including members, Allied Health Professionals, Early Career Investigators/Residents, delegates from low- and lower-middle-income countries, and students. Supporting documentation is required where applicable. Current registration fees and eligibility criteria are listed on the Registration page.

How can I get a visa invitation letter?

If you require a visa invitation letter for CEPAS 2026, please note that letters can only be issued after your registration has been completed and full payment has been received. Once this has been done, please contact us at cepas@eurokongress.de for further details.

How can I book accommodation?

All CEPAS 2026 participants may use the hotel booking service provided by our partner Revolugo. They offer a wide choice of accommodation at specially negotiated rates!

Will food and refreshments be provided?

Yes. Coffee breaks and lunch breaks will be provided during the congress, and food and beverages are included in the participation fee. We also take dietary requirements into account. If you have any questions or specific requests, please feel free to contact us at any time.

Will I receive a certificate of attendance?

Yes. All participants that were present at CEPAS 2026 will automatically receive a certificate of attendance via e-mail after the congress.
